WoW Herbalism Guide

Ultimate WoW GuideThis WoW Herbalism guide will show you the fastest and easiest way how to get your Herbalism skill up from 1 to 450.

Herbalism is a very profitable skill. There are many uses for the plants that you will be farming. You will be able to sell them on the Auction House. Herbalism works well with Alchemy and Inscriptions but is also used in many of the other professions.

If you are going to be using this skill for money make sure that you are using a really good Gold Guide to help you out.

Don't forget you can pick up every herb you see, even if it's green. As you see this is not a "Fast WoW Herbalism Guide 1-450 and never pick up an herb that doesn't level your skill!" Don't do that, herbs can be sold for money, pick up everything. I usually pick up even the Herbs grey for me, they are good for alts when I want to level Alchemy.

WoW Herbalism Leveling Guide 1 - 450

First, visit any trainer in the main cities of old Azeroth - just ask a guard, and learn Apprentice Herbalism.

[Peacebloom], [Silverleaf], [Earthroot]

Basically just every starter zone, they are filled with Herbs.

50 - 100

Learn Herbalism Journeyman.

[Mageroyal], [Briarthorn], [Stranglekelp]

100 - 170

When you reach 150, go to your trainer and learn Herbalism Expert.

[Bruiseweed], [Wild Steelbloom], [Kingsblood], [Stranglekelp], [Liferoot]

170 - 210

Learn Herbalism Artisan.

[Kingsblood], [Liferoot], [Fadeleaf], [Khadgar's Whisker], [Goldthorn]

If you are not on a PvE server, and you are not level 70 yet. Don't go to Stranglethorn Vale. It was filled with level 70 players when I was powerleveling my herbalism last time, and this is not a PvP guide.

210 - 270

[Sungrass], [Purple Lotus]

After 245 you can pick up Ghost Mushrooms in the caves too.

270 - 300

[Sungrass], [Gromsblood], [Golden Sansam], [Dreamfoil], [Mountain Silversage], [Plaguebloom]

300 - 325

Go to Outland and learn Herbalism Master.

[Felweed], [Dreaming Glory]

325 - 350

[Ragveil], [Flame Cap], [Terrocone], [Felweed], [Dreaming Glory]

350 - 400

Go to Northrend and learn Herbalism Grand Master.

Howling Fjord - [Goldclover]

400 - 435

Sholazar Basin - [Goldclover], [Adder's Tongue]

435 - 450

The Storm Peaks - [Lichbloom], [Icethron]

Making the Most Out of Herbalism

While you’re increasing your skills, it’s also a good idea to start making other items that you can sell. Hang out in the auction house and watch which items are in demand. Then go out and get them. This is a great way to make extra money to purchase the components you need for your other skill levels to increase.
